How Students Should Use This Page

Semester 1

Foundation semester for mathematics, communication, science, ICT, workshop practice, yoga and engineering graphics.

Semester 2

Programming and web basics begin here, along with applied mathematics, BEE, Linux and professional communication.

First Year Exit Scheme

Students exiting after first year must pass first and second semester courses and complete the exit internship requirement.

Semester 3

Core Computer Engineering work becomes serious with data structures, DBMS, digital techniques and C++.

Semester 4

Java, networking, microprocessor programming, Python and UI/UX make this a practical skill-building semester.

Second Year Exit Scheme

Students may need exit industrial training or the online second year exit course depending on the academic route.

Semester 5

This semester connects operating systems, software engineering, startups, seminar/project initiation and the 12-week internship.

Semester 6

Final semester combines management, emerging trends, testing, scripting, mobile development and capstone project.

Common Student Problems

Most students do not struggle because they are careless. They struggle because project work arrives with unclear instructions, changing guide feedback, college formats, and viva pressure at the same time.

• The project works, but the report does not explain the modules properly.
• The guide asks for diagrams, testing or screenshots one day before submission.
• The student knows the topic but cannot answer short viva questions confidently.
• The PPT has too much theory and not enough actual project explanation.
• The black book or ITR format does not match the department expectation.

Things Your Guide May Ask

• Why did you choose this topic?
• What problem does your project solve?
• Which module did you build first and why?
• Where is the database used?
• What testing did you perform?
• What would you improve if you had more time?

Before You Submit

• Check title page, certificate, acknowledgement, index and page numbers.
• Match every screenshot with the correct module description.
• Keep ER, DFD, UML or architecture diagrams readable.
• Prepare five simple lines to explain MSBTE K-Scheme Computer Engineering Subjects in viva.

Important Submission Notes

• FA-TH usually represents the average of two class tests conducted during the semester.
