Savitribai Phule Pune University: project guidance
SPPU, still widely called Pune University, affiliates engineering, architecture, management and science colleges across Pune, Ahilyanagar and Nashik districts.
How does the final year project work at SPPU?
In the 2019 pattern, B.E students do Project Based Learning in second year, a mini project and seminar in third year, and the final year project in two parts: Project Stage I in semester VII and Project Stage II in semester VIII (course codes 410248 and 410256 for Computer Engineering). Colleges moving to the NEP-aligned 2024 pattern keep the same staged approach.
What students usually have to submit
- Synopsis and Project Stage I report with literature survey and design
- Stage II implementation, testing and results
- Final project report in the department's format, with plagiarism certificate
- Research paper or conference participation, as asked by the department
- Internal reviews, then external viva
How we help
- Topic selection and synopsis that your guide can approve
- Build, simulation or design work with regular updates
- Stage-wise reports and the final report in your department's template
- PPT for each review and a mock viva before the external
- Research paper drafting where your department requires publication
Schemes and course codes are revised from time to time and colleges add their own rules. Treat this page as orientation and your department's circular as final. Project Buddyy is independent and not affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.
