Ask on WhatsApp

How do I check my MSBTE result?

Open the official MSBTE website (msbte.ac.in or msbte.org.in), go to the examination result link for your exam (Summer or Winter), enter your seat number or enrolment number, and download the marksheet. Keep a PDF copy; the printed marksheet comes later through your institute.

Steps

  1. Visit the official MSBTE website
  2. Open the result link for Summer or Winter examination
  3. Enter seat number or enrolment number
  4. View and download the result
  5. Check every subject head: FA-TH, SA-TH, FA-PR, SA-PR and SLA

What the heads mean

HeadMeaning
FA-THFormative assessment, theory: average of two class tests
SA-THSummative assessment, theory: end-semester exam
FA-PRFormative assessment, practical: term work during the semester
SA-PRSummative assessment, practical: end-semester practical or oral
SLASelf-learning assessment: assignments and micro-projects

In K-scheme, a student who does not get minimum marks in FA-PR of a course is declared detained for that semester, and failing SLA means the SLA work must be repeated and resubmitted.

If the result is not what you expected

  • Apply for verification of marks or a photocopy of the answer book within the dates MSBTE announces
  • Revaluation, where available, needs the photocopy first
  • Fill the exam form for backlog subjects in the next exam
  • Speak to your HOD about term-work or SLA resubmission

After your final semester result
